transform as source

hi friends can someone tell me how can i use a transform as source stage..

i need to assign some constant values in transform stage without using a source(passive) stage and insert those values into the database using a oracle target stage


my purpose is implement this without using any source passive stage

Create a stage variable. Doesn't need to be used but it does need to exist. Then use an appropriate constraint like @OUTROWNUM=1 to control the number of rows it generates.
