ODBC Error

Post by vikibemech »

I am getting an error as below in the recent past. Call to SQL failed.

[DataStage][SQL Client][ODBC][DataDirect][ODBC SQL Server Driver]The DataDirect ODBC driver you are attempting to access has been provided to you by IBM Information Integration Solutions for exclusive use with IBM WebSphere Data Integration Suite. You are not licensed to use this driver with any application other than IBM WebSphere Data Integration Suite.

The job will complete successfully by next run. Advice for a solution.

Job design? How exactly are you using ODBC in it?

I know that there is licensing issue with having database connectivity

My guess is that you are attempting to use a routine that includes BCI functions and that your 30 day grace period on the licence has expired. You must now purchase a licence from Data Direct for this combination to be able to work again.

What is the Transformer stage doing, and does it call any routines?
