Unable to delete some projects

Post by chanaka »

Hi Friends,

I have been assigned to a particular client where he has already installed and configured DS 8.1 on RHEL 64 bit.

At the initial phase he has created some DS projects and later he has created some new projects and started to work on them. Now when they attempt to delete the old unused projects from DS Administrator it is throwing out the below error.

For two projects
Error calling subroutine: DSR_NLS (Action=14); check DataStage is set up correctly in project ds_migration
(The connection is broken (81002))
Error calling subroutine: *DataStage*DSR_PROJECT (Action=1); check DataStage is set up correctly in project ds_migration
(The connection is broken (81002))
For the other
Failed to connect to DataStage server: hostname , project: seq1
(Invalid account name supplied (39129))
The physical DS project directoris are already there under /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/Projects directory.

Is there any way that I can help them to remove those projects without using the DS Administrator?

Cheers!

If there is, that would need to come from your official support provider after they determine exactly how each project is corrupted. IMHO.
