Abnormal termination

Hi There,

I have moved the jobs from DS 7.5.2 to DS 8.1 but when running the job Im getting this error can anyone help me please.

Abnormal termination of stage xx_xx_File_Job..tDefaults_xfile detected

From previous run
DataStage Job 1 Phantom 13692
Abnormal termination of DataStage.
Fault type is 11. Layer type is BASIC run machine.
Fault occurred in BASIC program DSP.Open at address 574.

reset the job and see the further details in the "from previous run..." entry. What kind of a stage is "xx_xx_File_Job..tDefaults_xfile"?

Now search here for "Fault type is 11. Layer type is BASIC run machine." (or individually) and see if any of those posts help.

What sort of a file are you trying to open as output (or could it be reference input) to that transform stage?
