NLS setting

The whole trick is to find out what your database NLS settings are and use exactly those setting for the Database stage in DataStage. The rest (almost) automatic. Also, the "View Data" designer functionality should not be used to determine if NLS works or not.

Am not sure whether there is any NLS setting for SQL Server DB, but the SQL Server DB has data stored in Czech Republic Language, my aim is to load the same Czech republican data into the Oracle DB through my Datastge Server job.

I tried checking out the NLS setting of MS Sql Server DB, but not able to find, could get only the collation which is CP1250
