Issue adding Projects

I have trouble adding projects to DS.
I have dsadm previlages.
However when I am creating the projects the projects are being created under a different host name..
Example:the host name is ftwaxpsetl8poc.ten-net.net:31538
but I see the projects under FTWAXPSETL8POC.

I am not able to see the projects in the main Host System (Through admin) but am able to see it from the backend on the same server....

How can I make the Add Project feature from admin take the correct Server info...

To which server do you connect with Administrator client?

How is your DataStage server described in the hosts file?

Can you try reversing the order of the host names in the hosts file?

Ray,
I have the same problem (project not visible in the admin client but seen in the Projects directory), my host file looks like this. Can you please advice if reversing the hostname helps us.

10.1.5.199 bi-prod02 bi-prod02.homeoffice.anfcorp.com

The issue is resolved.The issue was that the host name was not correct.
Changed the Host name using Smitty and the issue was resolved.
