DSR.ADMIN: Error updating secondary indices.

Post by ketfos »

Hi,
I am trying to add new project using datastage administrator (add project option).
I get the following error message - DSR.ADMIN: Error updating secondary indices.

Any thoughts or ideas.

Space or permissions in the project directory?

Hi,

I am able to create a file in the project directory using unix command touch.
The directory is currently 5% full.

Anything else needs to be looked into.

Thanks

With Version 8 you can use the Websphere console to specify which userid is actually used - did you check that userid's access rights to the directory or those of your UNIX user? It does look like a permissions issue.

The problem has been resolved.
I was trying to create project under / root folder.
i did not have the permissions.

however I had permissions to create in the project folder. After changing the path, I was able to create the projects.

Ray had rightly mentioned that it was permission problem.

Thanks
