Hi,
Could any one advice How to find the Datastage port used to communicate to SQL server?

Not the datastage port but you need the sql server port. That info you can get from your SQLServer DBA.

Correct me If wrong!! I guess the default port number for Sql server is 1433

That sounds familiar... but one should still check to find out was it setup with as that default value is not guaranteed to have been used. Or just try it and then check if it doesn't work.

Hi Guys,
From SQL server side, it is clear. We use the default which is 1433. I wanted to know the port in Datastage side.
Because there is a firewall between Datastage server and Database server.

There's no "port on the DataStage side" here, that is the one you need to have opened.
