Log file error

Hi all,

One of my sequnce got aborted.
When i reset i got the below message from 'previous run..'

File 'E:\\EZTRAVELMIG\\EZTRAVEL/RT_LOG1043/DATA.30':
Computed blink of 0xA6C does not match expected blink of 0x0!
Detected within group starting at address 0x80000000!
Job Aborted after Fatal Error logged.


Could anyone help me in resolving this

This is a corrupted hashed file, which contains the log for job number 1043. You can search the forum for ways to get out of this situation, depending on how badly you need the contents of the log. The address in the backward link error suggests that your log hashed file has tried to exceed its limit of 2GB.

Hi Ray,

Thanks for the help.

Right now i am not interested in the contents of log file.
Could clearing the log file like CLEAR.FILE RT_LOG1043 will solve my problem ?

As it would be in production i dont want to take any risk.

It will solve the "problem" of the corrupted job log, but it will mean that you lose any information already logged. If that is acceptable then the CLEAR.FILE command is the fastest fix.
