Ereplace Error

Dear All,

Iam using Ereplace(MD/ COMUNICA?O,"?","") in one of my JOB. The function works fine .
Now i have exported and imported this job to my production server environment and the Ereplace function fails there.
When i test the same function in a routine , the conversion happens , but not while using it in the job. I dont see any difference in my NLS setting or project environment setting between my Quality and Production environment.
Can any one help me on this. Why is this failing in my Production environment but working succesfully in my Quality Environment.
Production and Quality are 2 different machines.
