Arithmetic Overflow on Sort Stage

I have a transformer pointing to a sort stage. In the sort stage I have the
following values
Sort Spec IDFLUX asc ( a valid varchar key field )
Temp Dir #$SP_PARreperSeq# ( a valid directory)
Column Separator |
The rest are default

I get an arithmetic overflow error but I can't seem to change this whatever parameters I set.

Any suggestions ?

Please can you paste an error message you get in Director and what is your data in input for further analaysis.
