Phantom 7524

Post by DS_FocusGroup »

OK i have looked into the background of what a phantom error is and tried a few solutions posted on this site but i am still getting these in my teradata load jobs (Multiload).
DataStage Job 2927 Phantom 7524
Program "DSP.Open": Line 122, Exception raised in GCI subroutine:
Access violation.
Attempting to Cleanup after ABORT raised in stage DW_Load_INDIVIDUAL.STG_INDIVIDUAL
DataStage Phantom Aborting with @ABORT.CODE = 3
is this a bug ? do we have a patch for this?

thanks

Just an FYI, that's not where it noted that line 122 was a problem:

Program "DSP.Open": Line 122, Exception raised in GCI subroutine

Since we don't have access to the source for DSP.Open you need to look for other clues to the problem. Not sure how NLS mappings would solve that 'access violation' problem, but good thing it did.
