SQL Server 2005 usinng Bulk Loader

SQL Server 2005 usinng Bulk Loader
I am trying to use the SQL Bulk Loader stage on a SQL 2005 Server with multiple instances. In SQL Server Management Studio, I need to connect with SERVER\INSTANCE. I have tried only the Server name and the Server\Instance name in the bulk loader stage, but neither works. Do I need a SQL Alias on my Datastage Server?

One of the things we can't deal with is "it doesn't work". You need to be more specific. For example, are any warnings/errors logged? Please report these fully and accurately.
You ought not to need an alias, particularly if SQL Server is otherwise visible from your DataStage server machine.
