All jobs are giving error "Cannot open file DS_JOBOBJEC

Hi,

All the jobs in our development environment have started giving the error

"Cannot open file DS_JOBOBJECTS".

These jobs were working till yesterday and all of sudden all jobs started erroring out in same manner.

Any help in this matter is highly appreciated.

what is the result of COUNT DS_JOBOBJECTS

COUNT DS_JOBOBJECTS shows following message :
" Warning : Internal file corruption detected during file open!.
File must be repaired ,possible turncation.
hsize:2048
bsize:2048
fsize:73493504
Unable to open "DS_JOBOBJECTS" file.

What happened? Sounds like you may have run out of space where DataStage is installed and corrupted your installation... do you have backups?

yeah we have the back up, any idea which folders we need to restore?

The entire project in question. How old are your backups? Again, any idea what happened?

Back ups are two week old and you are correct about running out of space.

So we need to restore the project back not the DataStage installation.

Well... the one problem you've found so far is project specific. However, that's not to say that's the only problem you've got. Did you search for your error message here and read what other people did to discover the extent of their problem and how they recovered? Ray has posted quite a bit on the subject, I know.
