Database lock by METASTAGE_LOCK_INFO

Post by JPalatianos »

Hi,
Our process ID keeps getting locked out.....Our DBA has traced the issue back to something called METASTAGE_LOCK_INFO .
Has anyone heard of this?
Thanks - - John

No, the table is called XMETALOCKINFO. Tell your DBA to clean all the entries in that table.

All entries? Is that safe or should it be more of a tactical strike?

I'm sorry for the confusion...it is a Mainframe process id that get's locked. We connect to the mainframe via ODBC. It is the Mainframe DBA that repoprted to us that a process called "METASTAGE_LOCK_INFO" is causing our process id to get locked out of the database.
