Post by pxraja »

Hi all,

my job got aborted and the log view is given below,

.Transformer_2.DSLink7: DSD.BCIGetNext call to SQLFetch failed.

SQLSTATE=S1000, DBMS.CODE=1555
[DataStage][SQL Client][ODBC][DataDirect][ODBC Oracle Wire Protocol driver][Oracle]ORA-01555: snapshot too old: rollback segment number 8 with name "_SYSSMU8$" too small

please give suggestions on how to resolve this issue.

thanks in advance

Contact your Oracle DBA and have them increase the rollback segment for your database and or seek their advice if they want other.

Yes, definitely chat with your DBA. How long did the job run before it blew? How busy was the database with other processes at the time it was running?
