Usage of LOG.SAVE

Hi,

What are the usage and syntax of commands LOG.SAVE and LOG.RESTORE ?
Do they "only" save/restore to/from tape ?
Is there a way to save/restore logs to/from disk to disk ?

I searched it in the forum, but didn't found.

Tell us more about these commands. Where did you find them? Were they perhaps provided by IBM France?
These commands are not, as far as I know, part of the standard DataStage suite.
