Server job aborted due to Metadata mismatch

Hi all,

I have a job that kept crashing and gave out the following messages:

GIL_J_Dim_PS_D_SNO_WEEKS_WRK..Trans_Gen_Key: Metadata mismatch for column '2': Datastage column type and database column type differ.

...

DataStage Job 2614 Phantom 3288
Job Aborted after 50 errors logged.
Attempting to Cleanup after ABORT raised in stage GIL_J_Dim_PS_D_SNO_WEEKS_WRK..Trans_Gen_Key
DataStage Phantom Aborting with @ABORT.CODE = 1


The job ran well before and we didn't change it. I checked the column definitions inside Datastage and Database and they are the same.

What could be the cause?

Metadata mismatch occurs once and is not fatal (unless you get more that 50 of them). What other warnings are appearing?
