Build in Operator

Hi All
Could any one guide me, How to Create a build in operator and whether we can create Build in operator in UNIX (or) C.
For my project we want to create a reusable stage throughout my project.

I think you mean "plug in". Yes you can - there is a Plug-In Stage Writers Guide available through your support provider. The stage itself is written in C (external to DataStage) and compiled and linked (again external to DataStage). It must be packaged and registered into DataStage. If you also want to create a custom GUI the language that you use is Visual C++.
