No Row was found for update

Post by DWH-M »

Hi,

When I was trying to update the table through DataStage,I am getting the below warning.

SQLExecute: No row was found for UPDATE.

I understand that because no row is found to update that's what it is giving warning. But I am really wondering,if no records found to update it should not through warning, simply it should ignore that record.

Can any one please help me on this.

Thanks.

What database? Oracle wouldn't do that, but from what I've read here, DB2 does. Check with your DBA to see if there's some way to suppress this informational message.
