Problem while using SAP Extract Plugin in CPIC Transfer mode

Hello,

We are usign the SAP Extract plugin version 5.0 with DataStage 6.0.2.

We have a problem while running the extract jobs using CPIC mode of DataTransfer. The jobs are running successfully when no runtime parameters are included in the select query.

But when we use parameters in the select query, the job just runs to completion without returning any data.

The jobs where the data transfer method is FTP, the jobs run fine even with parameters to the sql query.

Could you guys please provide any pointers ?

We have tried to use parameters in user and password and they did not work. We thought this upgrade would fix this but it did not.

True, The parameters donot work in the logon fields. But i guess the Support has informed that the parameters would work in the sql query.

Has anybody used parameters in sql query with CPIC mode of data transfer?

Can you please tell me what steps we need to follow when we change data transfer method from CPIC to FTP...
