finding a rogue job

Post by jshurak »

My server has been up at 100% CPU all day. My theory (based on history) is that there is a job that has some poor code in it and is looping around and around, sucking up CPU. I will be rebooting when I have a window, but in the mean time, I'd like to figure out which job is out of control.

Is there a way in Administrator to find the CPU hogs?

You need to use performance monitor in windoze to identify the PID of the process. You can use DS.TOOLS to see which job is running under the PID you identify.
