Unable to Save Job

Post by ady »

Hi All,

I am trying to save a job with stages and i get the following error.

Unable to Save EditServ.impl.JobDefnImpl@79427df4

Has it got something to do with the indexes in the repository? Please let me know.

Thank You!!

If EditServ.impl.JobDefnImpl@79427df4 is your job name then that is your problem. Eliminate the special characters.

Kduke, EditServ.impl.JobDefnImpl@79427df4 is not my job name. My job name is TestUserActivity.

Thanks

The problem isn't solved yet as i had mentioned earlier. I was able to save the job once but the error is coming up again and it is showing up on all the projects. Please let me know as to what can be done.

Thank You

Have you checked your permissions to see if they have changed?

I suspect that EditServ.impl.JobDefnImpl@79427df4 is a name used in the common repository for Information Server. Check with IBM whether you also need to re-index that repository.
