Hi all,
How to find out ,whether i have the access priviledges to the particular MQ queue Manager or not?
Whenever i try to connect to queue i am ending with th error message as:
"Failed to connect to queue manager. Reason code 2058."
This means Bad/Invalid queue manager name.
Do help/suggest me in this regard,
Prasad,

Re: Access to Queue manager
You have already tested and found out the MQ manager name you used is not right. Reason code 2058 means Error in Queue Manager Name. You will have to find out the right MQ manager name from the MQ admin and try again.

Make sure, too, that the MQ Series server is on the same machine as the DataStage server.
This requirement is removed in version 8.0, when it is sufficient to have an MQ Series client on the DataStage server machine.
