We have received new uvsh and dsapi_slave files from IBM to fix a problem we had. Now after installing the patch number of jobs failed with the Mutex-not owner time-out problem. If we increase the time-out then it runs fine. IBM says it's not related to the patch.
I can revert it back to see if that's the problem but just wanted to know if anyone faced problems like this. Could anyone think about the cause for this problem ?
Problem after installing the patch...

Was the problem that your patch fixed related in any way to something that might affect your performance/timeouts?

Re: Problem after installing the patch...
We had a similar thing a while ago (about 6 months)... my hunch would be that the uvsh/dsapi_slaves have other fixes rolled up in them which may affect you. After badgering support for a while we got new versions which were ok.kaps wrote:We have received new uvsh and dsapi_slave files from IBM to fix a problem we had. In theory there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.
