DS client error

Post by rohitchattar »

As soon as I double click on any stage and try to open job details, the client freezes. (We are using DS Server edition)

Only way to get rid of the frozen DS designer screen is to use ctrl-alt-del and kill the session from my PC.

Please let me know what needs to be done to solve the issue.

Just on your PC or on any? I would recommend re-installing your client.

Is your client machine running Windows XP sp2? If so, do you have the DataStage xpsp2 client patch?

You never answered this question, so let's expand on it a little:

Does this only happen on your PC or does everyone have the problem? Does it matter what type of job you work on - Server or Sequence jobs - or does the job type not matter?
