If you actually cut-and-paste the error message into a search window here on DSXchange you will find many answers.

Hi,

In this case check your DataStage Director is it showing the log of the job that you are deleting. If yes, then go to status window of the director. Now trying to delete.

Thanks

As the error message says, the log of that job is locked else where.
Either colse all the clients that access the job, or try to clear the locks held for that particular job, using Cleanup Resources option available in Director.
This has been dealt several times in this forum. As Arnd mentioned, if you could search, you will find lot of hits.
Impossible doesn't mean 'it is not possible' actually means... 'NOBODY HAS DONE IT SO FAR'

Like but not exactly like. :?

The key, as noted, is to take the actual error message and search this site for it. You'll find plenty of references to it.
