verify/compare DEV version of the code against production

Hi All,

How to verify/compare the development version of the code against production by exporting both jobs to a file. Is ther any utility or tool available.I am using v7.5A. or is there any method to compare the two .dsx file by manual.

There's nothing built into any current version other than 8.x, which is the first version where such a tool is available. As you've noted, however, you can manually compare two .dsx exports. Use your favorite file compare utility.

If you use Reporting Assistant then you can write SQL to compare the 2 jobs.
