Regarding Performance tuning

Hi Gurus,

As a Developer when can i think to go for performance tuning.

what are the aspects or when can i think that i need to do some performance tuning. Is by means of time ,its taking for the job.How can i estimate the time.

When you design any job you need to look into the performance aspect of it.
Irrespective of whether it takes a long time or not.
