DataStage Weird Error

Post by parag.s.27 »

We are getting a weird error while opening a job: -

The error is

Record J\126\V135S0P15 in file DS_JOBOBJECTS does not exist.

When we click on OK button on this error message box, the job opens but all the links connecting the stages are gone but when we open any transformer then it shows all link details.

Can anyone please help on this
Thanks & Regards

DS_OBJECTS may have missing entries due to a problem saving the job. Does this problem apply to only one job or to many?

Are you hitting diskspace limits in your project directory?
Do you have a backup export of this job?

This job is corrupted, a row of design data is missing in the internal file DS_JOBOBJECTS. Running out of disk space on the project is when this usually occurs. Since all jobs in a project share the same storage file, you need to be concerned that more jobs are potentially corrupted.

You should do an immediate export to try to save as many jobs as possible. I recommend you verify you have enough disk space free, create a new project, and begin working in there. The possibility that other supporting files may be corrupted is high.

And make it a practice to keep monitoring disk space allocated for your project directory. Also, avoid building files within project directory. Make sure logs are purged regularly.
