regarding importing jobs from datastage manager

Post questions here relative to DataStage Server Edition for such areas as Server job design, DS Basic, Routines, Job Sequences, etc.

hi gurus,
thanks very much i could import the jobs.
but the problem is the imported design is.

odbc--->transformer----->obbc---->container.
i can't view the logic in the container, it shows the container stage.how can i vew the stages involved or logic involved in the container.
what shall i tell my friend, inorder to view the stages involved in building container, plz gurus help me.is there something my friend needs to export
so that i can view the properties of container.

You double-click on the container to view its contents. If it is a shared container, your buddy will need to export it for you and you'll need to import that as well.

Buddy,Only thing you need to do is ask your friend to give you the proper documentation and as he has created these jobs ,just call him and ask him.
