regarding container

Post by vijaykumar »

hi,
my design is odbc---->transformer---->odbc
my transformer has a logic inside.i want to reuse the transformer stage in other jobs also, i went to edit and designed a shared container.
as per rules container is available in manager, but how can i use that server shared container in my designer which is in manager.
when i choose file-->open-->new, there is also option to choose server shared container, when i choose that a pallete opens.
is there any difference in constructing container in designer rather than choosing server shared container.
how can i export the container which is in manager to my designer

cheers;
vijay

If you have a shared container in your project, you should be able to access it from the 'Shared Container' folder in the repository viewer of the designer.

Try refreshing the repository viewer/window.
