ABT DRS STAGE

Post by Saama »

hi gurus,
i wanted to show my team lead how DRS works, i used DRS stage as source and DRS stage as target.
in the DRS STAGE iam extracting data from SQL SERVER.
given DATABASE TYPE AS - mssql server.
connection- defined new dsn by selecting the drivers for SQL SERVER.
i have tested the connection when defining DSN it was correct.
when iam using DRS- as source ans trying to view the data.
iam getting error as DSBROWSER-RDBMS-0:[MICROSOFT ODBC DRIVER MANAGER INVALID].
shall i need some other drivers inorder to work with RDS STAGE.
i will appreciate if any guru can help me out.

cheers;

It is better to use the DataDirect drivers provided by Ascential. :wink:

You dont need any any additional drivers in order to work with the DRS stage.
Check your ODBC connection set up again.
Also, do you get the same error when you try using the ODBC stage?

Does not look like a driver problem, it looks more like a permission problem. Can you copy and paste the "exact" error messages.
