Job Still running

I have a job which usually takes 1 min to run .

Yesterday when i was running , the job just hangs.
The job populates 2 Flat files and loads into Oracle using Link Collector.It hangs upto loading into flat files

I stopped the job through dierctor.

The flat files are locked . when i try to open them ( going to path ) ,get a message as files used by another process and the files are 0 kB.
I tried killing the process through director (cleanUp resources).

Today somehow the job got started by its own and the files size are about 10,000 Kb and 2666 Kb .Its more tahn 2 hours job is still running.

I hope my description is clear . please help me understand what could be the reason.

Hi Paddu,
Better to check where exactly flat files are used instead of killing the process blindly.

Issue Resolved .

Somehow the job was waiting to finish the process and built the two flat files (even though the status was aborted in director ) .I truly do not know the issue why it did that

.
now after recompling the job it runs in 1 min and i can view the flat files too.
