strange errors.

Hi All,

I have just created a new project pn production datastage. Imported some jobs and got these strange errors.

Have not seen anything like this before - just making you aware in case there's something wrong.

This is for ur reference:

Property value cannot contain UniVerse mark characters.
Property name is: Value
Invalid data is : JTYPE=0;SCOLS=<B>;<B>;D="<none>";

plz help on this

HI,

Is the error for only few job or for all the jobs to import?
By any chance did you edit the exported dsx file?
Impossible doesn't mean 'it is not possible' actually means... 'NOBODY HAS DONE IT SO FAR'

I am getting this error for total all category Jobs..

I didn't edit the dsx file.

Can you explain what is this in the job --
JTYPE=0;SCOLS=;;D="<none>";

This error occurs if dsx file is curropted.
Try to import the same file into another project.
Impossible doesn't mean 'it is not possible' actually means... 'NOBODY HAS DONE IT SO FAR'

Those particular objects (job or routine) contains a prohibited literal ASCII value.
