RANGE LOOKUP/UV STAGE -READING DATA IN WRONG FORMAT

Post by somu_june »

hi ,

I am doing a range lookup on a UniVerse stage . my lookup file is a flat file which I preloaded into a hashed file. Now I am giving this source file to the UV stage. When I look in the data browser of UV stage the data it shows is not exactly the data in the hashed file. It followed a pattern where in all the data is shifted left to four decimal points . In the hashed file it is 301.0000 when it comes to UV stage it is 0.301.
Any help in figuring out the problem is greatly appreciated.

My first thought would be that you have specified a precision of 4, which would shift everything over 3 places.

I would say your metadata is messed up. You may need to delete the hash file and recreate it.
