installation error in home pc

Well, apart from declaring to the world you're installing an illegal copy of the Server engine on your home PC, the only other error you're encountering is that you have to be running Windows XP Professional. It sounds like you're not.

Hi...

I think, your PC disk format type might be FAT32. Try to convert to NTFS and reinstall DataStage .. I will work on WinXP prof, Window 2000 prof, win 2k server, win 2k Adv server. But only server jobs.

From Windonw 2003 server, we can install DataStage EE. Correct if i am wrong

kool_cons,

your illegal (unless your middle name is Croesius) copy is not installing because you aren't using the NTFS file system, which is a pre-requisite for DataStage. DataStageCnu has pointed this out already.

As per DataStageCnu, i am trying to convert FAT32 to NTFS to get installation.

Do not thank us for assisting your illegal activities, we simply pointed out that DS is supported on Windoze utilizing the NTFS filesystem, which is the default for Windoze XP Professional.
