[b]PATCH installation unable to open Designer[/b]

HI FOLKS,

I have installed a patch on my client machine which is the patch for ecase 62522.

I followed the installation steps mentioned in that release notes.

Start->Run
regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Ascential\DataStage7.5\jobseqpages.dll"
[assumes default install location - modify if needed]
Click OK

After these steps are over,I tried opening the Designer but im unable to open it.I can see the Designer running in Task manager but unable to see the canvas. :shock:
Rest of my clients are working fine.

Any suggestions please..

this is best taken up directly with your support provider; they know what the patch .dll is supposed to repair and will be able to provide better assistance than what you might get here - at the moment it just looks like a bad library - what happens when you revert to the original library?

I will go through Ascential support as u suggested

By the way whats that bad libraray?and whats mean by reverting library?

Arnd is asking what happens when you put back (and re-register) the original version of the "jobseqpages.dll" file?
