Unable to work with XML as input file.

Hi,

I am unable to work with taking XML as input file.
I am totally new with XML transformations.
I have gone through the XML help provided with Data Stage but
unable to run the job.

Can you please give me step by step points on how to take XML as input file.

You can take output in any format.

Tell us what you have tried and what didn't work about it. You should be able to pick up the XML file with a Folder stage (remember, only two columns), feed it to an XML Input stage to do the parsing of the second column and then output it to your target of choice.

Have you read the XML Pack pdf documentation that is in your 'Docs' folder? Have you imported the metadata from the XML so that you have the correct XPath expressions to work with in the job?
