CROS JOIN Table Generation

Hi !

I want to create table from 3 tables as a cartesian product of these 3 tables . I have two fixed values I need to add the to process .

I f any stage in DS to help me ?

You posted this question in the Server Edition. And there to solve the problem is easy for anybody, who have had their first day of DataStage Education.

You have an ODBC-Stage as input for example, a transformer and a sequential Stage as output, that is all.

Wolfgang's design is sound. Don't forget that you may need to wait 110 years for the Cartesian product to deliver its result.

Depending on the database you may also need to set an option to allow you to perform cross joins. For example in Red Brick you would use the SET CROSS JOIN ON; command.) This is not a DataStage issue.
