Should work. Are these in one Designer and not two different connections?

There's nothing special you need to do.

Can you copy/paste within the same job?
When you use the right mouse button on a stage, do Copy, Cut and Paste appear in the pop-up menu?
Can you use copy/paste in other (ideally non-Microsoft) applications?

If not, probably the easiest "solution" is to uninstall then reinstall the DataStage client software.

Hi

When I select one stage in a job and do the right click, the pop up menu does appear, Copy menu item is enabled also. I can click the copy sub menu item. After that when I right click in an open area, the popup appears with paste disabled.

I am able to do a copy and paste operation with other applications.

Any ideas ...

The only other thing I can think of is are your copying from a server job to a server job? Are the jobs the same type? I doubt if you can copy from a server job to a sequence or to a PX job.
