Possibly an index corruption somewhere in the Repository. Search the forum for DS.REINDEX.

Be sure when you log into DataStage Manager that you DO NOT check the Omit button.

Thanks to both Ray and smith, when i was tried to import the jobs without any username and pwd the error occured, after giving the authorized user name and pwd the jobs imported smoothly.

The really interesting question here is how Chuck in Virginia USA knew that Rajasekhar in Bangalore (India) had checked the Omit check box :!:

I found his omnisciency interesting as well. Assuming it was a 'been there, done that' kind of moment for Chuck.

Hi all ,

while importing one of DSX to a new project i am getting the following error.

#1) Error calling subroutine:DSR_RECORD(Action=2):Check Datastage is setup correctly in in Project. (Internal error (82021))

#2) Error in command 'CATALOG RT_BP612
JOB.1381048179.DT.1354842861 JOB.1381048179.DT.1354842861 LOCAL FORCE': Unable to open
"RT_BP612.0/JOB.1381048179.DT.1354842861" for cataloging.

#3) Error calling subroutine:DSR_RECORD(Action=10):Check Datastage is setup correctly in in Project. (Internal error (82021))

#4) A job named A2BAPPOINTMENT already exists in the project.

Provide a suggestion to overcome the errors and import the DSX file correctly.

P.S : I dont have any user name / password for the authorization.

Get one!

As you can see, the consensus in this thread and on the forum is that the import will not work without actually logging in.

I created a local user for the server box and logged using the user id / password from Datastage client. Now using the Manager i imported the DSX file to the server.

Thanks a ton for all the informations and the replies i received.
