when i am trying to access data from ftp server I am getting this error:
'ftp command port failed'
i am keeping ftp plugin as imput, a transformer and an oci stage as output.
Some quick suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi,
I think you need to make shure your IIS server on that machine is operational and you have the required privilages to perform this task, so contact your sysadmins.
Once you have ftp running from command line with no DS involved try doing it from DS.

Bump up the Tracing level in the FTP stage to something other than zero so you can get more information about the problem.
Two things: There are two places in the stage to do this. The values are additive - for example, to turn on 1 and 3 set the value to 4.
