pivot stage problem

Hello Gurus,
I got an error message " Record File Pivot DS_Stage_types not found" while compiling the job which includes pivot stage. Could you please suggest me how to resolve this issue.

Seems like there is some problem while installing plug-ins or stage type table may be corrupt.

then what is remedy for that. do i need to install the datastage client or something else.

You need to install the Pivot stage using the Package Installer on the server. You can also re-install the server, selecting the Pivot stage as one of the stage types to be installed in each project.
