Installation of Datastage 7 in Windows XP is not working. The client
is also not getting installed. Any workaround.

Do you get any error messages? You will need at least XP Professional to install into, not the home edition.

Last time I looked, Windows XP is not an operating system on which DataStage is certified.

You can install DS on WinXP but you need Pro edition. It does not work on the home editon.

You should have NTFS partition in order to install DataStage in XP professional.

It will work with XP SP2. That is the main reason of lots of patches discussed in this forum.

As long as people understand that the 'it' that will work under XP Pro SP2 is the client. It's still not a supported platform for the Server.
