General idea for job design

hi

In my company we have shifts job of employees.these jobs are sheduled
to run daily.i just want to know how can we design a job in datastage which give total count of records daily or monthly and also check with previous records and tell whether it is loosing any history of records.

There are quite a few ways.
The job log records the number of rows processed on each link in the job.
You can create job control or after-job routines to interrogate the link row counts.
All have been described on this forum. Why not institute a Search for them? A good starting topic might be link row count.
