Merge Stage

Hai everybody,
I want to use merge stage to insert or update large volumes of data but what i couldn't figure it is what join type i should use basically i want to insert or update to my target table.

The Merge stage in Server jobs merges / combines two flat files. That's got nothing to do with how you go about inserting or updating a target table.

Perhaps if you explained in more detail your requirements?
