Any reference book for Admin related stuff.

Hi,

I am looking for book, online manual and white papers, were i can get more informations on Universe Databases, commands like DS.REINDEX, LIST etc.. etc...Llooking at the various hash files created by datastage like &COMO& DS_JOBS,DS_JOBOBJECTS, RT_BP1,RT_LOG1 etc.. etc... and various operation that i can perform on them. Making read only routine. UV.ACCOUNT ....many others like these.


Well i know bit about most of the things i have mentioned. But dying to know more about them and others command or files too.
I have searched most of the online manuals, but didnt find significant amount of information on them.
Sometime i find few threads Posted here, I just copy them and document it. But need a manual where i can all other different commands and different Hash files.

Universe pdf is avail thru IBM's site since it's their product.
If my memory fails me on that, simply search for Ray's post using the search utility here.

Some of the things you ask for are available via the ADN site and in the FAQ forum here.

I can search for things that I am aware of, and dont have details for them, but most likely there would be many more such commands about which i dont even know. So what will i look for in the search engine, thatz why need a book or manual or a place where i can get all the commands available with DataStage.

At your MS-DOS command prompt,
type telnet
and then say open hostname(your DataStage Server Host)
when prompted enter your username and password.
