what is a multi instance job?

Hi,

You could use Multiple Instance option if you want to run X times the same job to load X similar files with same structure but different names into datatabse table/ files

You will be asked for invocation id.

Give Invovation ID and you can see it in the director as MAINJOBNAME.INVOCATIONID

you can also view log files for this invovation id.

These X instances Ketfos mentions can run concurrently.

A traditional job can only run one at a time.

This option is available under the Job Properties Screen under General.
