Installing MQ Series Plug In

I am working on DS 7.5 and i have client installed on my machine. Server is some where else on Unix. Can somebody help me how to install the MQ Series Plug in.

Try to register the plugin in Datastage Manager. If you get an error it could have something to do with permissions.

When installing DataStage the Unix root account is used and when running Datastage Manager the DataStage Administrator account (dsadm) is used. Try installing the product as the root user and adding the plugins during the installation.

Thanks. I guess, this is something DS administrator has to do. As a developer i dont have those previlages or access to root.

Yes, this sounds like a security issue to me.
